About Space – Wall watcher by Elisa Martinelli

Light is vibration which is capable of roughening a smoothing material, of giving a three-dimensional quality to a flat surface. It moves in waves constantly interacting with the fabric of its obstacles either to disappear in them or to crate reflections. Does light and surface define our perception of space? Is the space we see beyond the mirror the “objective” representation of our “subjective” point of view or should it be seen as space that is somehow at the crossing between vision and thought, projection and speculation?

Elisa Martinelli – manager and curator at ArtMoorHouse
